Air redeem rules

Redeeming CEA Flights Award

(1)The whole journey of redeemed award ticket must be non-stop CEA flight.

(2)If the round trip includes different classes,the points required are the sum of 50% of the points needed for the round trip associated with those classes.

(3)When redeeming first class or business class flight awards for beneficiaries on routes between China and Europe/South Pacific/North America/South Africa,members can redeem a maximum of 2 round trip award tickets(4 one-way award tickets)or 4 upgrade awards in one year.However such limit does not apply to economy class award ticket on all routes or first class/business class award ticket on other routes.

(4)Where a whole award ticket is solely filed by CEA,the refund rules applying to the below two situations are follows:

1)For the CEA-caused involuntary refund of an entire award ticket,the points redeemed shall be reinstated to member's account.

2)For the CEA-caused involuntary refund of part segment of an award ticket,the points,which are required for the redemption of this part segment with originally booked class of service for one-way,shall be reinstated to member's account.

*The table below is the standard level for redemption, and does not apply to the product of revenue fare class paid with points.

Members can redeem award tickets both with CEA flight code and actually operated by CEA (including MU, FM and KN flight)

Redeeming Sky Team Flights Award

(1)Members can redeem award ticket of one single SkyTeam partner airlines,and can also redeem award ticket of flights operated by multiple SkyTeam mumber airlines(including CEA).If the whole jourmey of the award ticket is carried by CEA flight,number of points required for CEA flight award ticket will apply.

(2)As some airlines implement blackout dates for the use of award tickets,please refer to CEA website for details.

(3)The number of points required for a round trip is double of that for one-way.

(4)If the class of outbound sector is different than that if inbound sector,the total number of points required for the round trip is the sum of the points required for each sector with relevant class.

Members can redeem award ticket with flight code of any SkyTeam member airlines and also operated by any SkyTeam member airlines.

Redeem award ticket of partner airlines flights

Members can redeem award ticket on flights both marketed and operated by the same following airlines: Japan Airlines (JL) and Qantas Airways (QF).
The number of seats for award ticket of partners flights is subject to actual seat availability.
Some airlines implement blackout dates for award ticket.

Redeeming Japan Airlines Award Ticket

Members can only redeem the round trip flights.
Open jaw can be redeemed for both international and domestic route.
If different service classes are booked on both departing and returning trip, the total number of required points for the whole itinerary is the sum of the points that are required for the two respective single trips based on their corresponding service class.
The domestic flights award ticket is valid for 90 days

Redeeming Qantas Airlines Award Ticket

Members can redeem one-way or round trip award ticket. Round trip on international route with open jaw is redeemable only in the same redemption zone. Round trip on domestic route with open jaw is not available for redemption.
The sum of required points for round trip is double for one-way.
If different service classes are booked on both departing and returning trip, the total number of required points for the whole itinerary is the sum of the points that are required for the two respective single trips based on their corresponding service class.

On flights of 3- cabin layout with economy class,business class and first class,economy class,business class and first class,economy class is only allowed to be upgraded to business class,or business class to first class,while on flights of two- cabin layout with economy class and first class,economy class can be upgraded to first class,and the number of points needed is the sum of those required for the upgrade from economy class to business class and those from business class to first class.

Excess luggage allowance redemption is only available on member himself at certain airport member service office.The point rate is 10 point redeem ￥1 excess luggage allowance.
